So have you ever gone on a date with someone that sucked the life out of the entire room? Perhaps he/she was a Debbie Downer, rubbed you the wrong way, or just killed the moment? Well, we call these people BUZZKILLS. Now I’m certain we’ve all had our very own buzzkill moments and here are some suggestions on how NOT to be a buzzkill on future dates. Don’t bring up a bunch of sh*t that nobody cares about for the sake of having conversation Of course, we want conversations to flow naturally, but it’s important to really THINK before we speak. So if you have some random thoughts running through your mind that you…

His Son’s Mom
So I met this guy at a friend’s party and we hit it off. He was a gawjus [gorgeous] chocolate man…nice body, dressed well, smelled good, and he was funny. [Lord knows I love me a funny man!] He asked me for my number and we kept in touch after the party. Since I had a habit of going on dates with limited pre-discussions [i.e. not enough pre-date screening], I wanted to take the time to converse with this guy to learn a little bit more about him before going out.

Mr. Softy
So I went to happy hour with this guy that I had been dating for a couple of months. Because he was a self-proclaimed lightweight, he only had one drink [apparently, I’m some sort of lush because I had three lol] and we stuffed our faces with wings and fries [I’m very health conscious 0_0 lol]. So I connected with this girl last night at a bar. I wanted to take her out and stuff (court her the right way)….Picnics, movies and sh#!t. She tells me to call her, so I attempt 3-4 times the very next day until I get frustrated and text her saying “I guess you are giving me the hand”. She eventually responds via text saying that her phone was in her room (for 12-15 hours). But, now she is mad at me for assuming that she dissed me. I apologized to her simply saying I did not mean it all like that. I just didn’t know how to interpret her silence.…

Repost: Tigole Bitties
So I met this guy through a friend of mine and I thought he was very cool. We exchanged numbers and continued to get to know each other. He invited me over for dinner one night and I was rather excited. Why? Because I absolutely LOVE a man in the kitchen. I put the finishing touches on my outfit and headed to his place for our dinner date. Once I arrived, the aroma of deliciousness permeated the air [my stomach was brewing with excitement] and it didn’t hurt that his home was very well decorated. Needless to say, I was impressed. Anyway, he invited me to have a seat in…
