So I pulled up to work one morning and I parked a little farther away than normal because my usual parking space was gone [I worked in a residential area]. His Son’s Mom
So I met this guy at a friend’s party and we hit it off. He was a gawjus [gorgeous] chocolate man…nice body, dressed well, smelled good, and he was funny. [Lord knows I love me a funny man!] He asked me for my number and we kept in touch after the party. Since I had a habit of going on dates with limited pre-discussions [i.e. not enough pre-date screening], I wanted to take the time to converse with this guy to learn a little bit more about him before going out.

So in the church bulletin on Sunday, they announced that the Couples Ministry would be playing the movie “Courageous” on Thursday night. It was advertised as an inclusive event for “All couples, new couples, engaged couples, married couples, young and old” etc. So, I invited this guy I’ve only been out with 7-8 times to movie night at church. We arrived only to be greeted by the Married Couples Ministry who does a special prayer with us for our marriage. My neck turned red.
