So I met this guy through my job: I’m a social worker and he’s a cop. We conversed for a couple of months at work and on the phone and he revealed that he was looking to settle down and find a wife. [Alright now!]
We made plans to go out to dinner for our first official date and I was looking forward to it because I thought he was really cool and that we were very compatible. HOWEVER, thirty minutes prior to us linking up, I received a text from him that completely blew my mind.
SMH!
THIS DATE IS OVER!!!!!
To my surprise, this guy sent me a text the next day informing me that he did not go through with sleeping with the girl because he was thinking of me [oh how sweet! BARF!] and that he went to a party instead. He even went so far as to send me a picture of him at the party for added proof that he did not give in to his sexual desires [such a gentleman!]. SMH
So, I sent him a final good riddance text.
