Technology has completely changed the way that a lot of us do life, especially in the world of dating. We can literally manage our love lives with the click of a mouse and/or thumbs via online dating. Online dating seems like a no-brainer or that it would be fairly simple, but it can be a little complex. So we’ve come up with a list [yes! the dreaded list] of some tips, tricks, advice, and etc. that we’ve learned along the way. Of course we won’t cover everything and will probably have to create several blog posts on this subject, so just humor us for now. lol HAVE AN OPEN MIND…

Speed Date
So I met this guy online and we began to speak on the phone off and on for a couple of weeks. I had been out of town for work, so there wasn’t an immediate opportunity for us to connect face to face. Well, I was home this particular week and the guy called to ask what I was doing that evening. I let him know that I had a meeting when I got off and would be headed home afterwards. He said he wanted to see me and would be wrapping up with his client [he was a personal trainer] at around 7:30pm, which happened to be around the…

Tony
So I met and became friends with this guy named Tony (not his real name). I found him attractive, but never had the courage to really make a move because I was shy and didn’t know if he was remotely attracted to me. We eventually lost touch…nothing personal…we just didn’t communicate as much. Fast forward a few months…. It was a normal afternoon and I was at home chilling [because I had nothing else better to do lol]. My phone rang and it was Tony!!!! I was brewing with excitement and simply couldn’t answer the phone quick enough. I made up my mind that I was going to stop being a…

Pencil D***
So I met this guy in a popular nightlclub in DC and we dated for a few months. Things progressed pretty well and pretty quickly. Eventually, our dates became longer and longer until one night I decided to give him some. Things were getting hot and heavy…I asked him if he had any condoms and he said “no”. So I told him to get some. My neighborhood was a pretty popular neighborhood with plenty of convenience stores within seconds of my home, yet it took him 45 minutes. When he returned, he seemed pretty nervous, but I invited him to my bedroom to relax with a glass of wine. The…

Blabbermouth
So I met this guy one night while I was at a bar with some of my friends. I liked his vibe and we exchanged numbers before I left to go home. We talked on the phone a few days later after I had gotten off from work and it just so happened that my project site was close to his office [Sweet!]. We decided to get together that same night after my project at a sushi restaurant nearby to have those initial ice-breaker conversations since we hadn’t chatted much after meeting due to both of our schedules. I learned that we worked in the same industry and that neither one…
