    Christmas Tree

So I met this guy during the holiday season at a professional football game…my company had a private suite at the time and the guy worked at the stadium.  We exchanged numbers and spoke on the phone a few days later….the typical get-to-know-you conversations.   Anyway, he called me on a Monday and asked me out to dinner for Friday of that week.  I was looking forward to it because he seemed pretty cool UNTIL he called me a couple of hours before our date breaking our plans.  His excuse: “I gotta get my grandmother a Christmas tree.” [THE F**K ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!] As I burst into laughter I…

    A Ride

So I’m at a John Legend concert with my cousin on a Sunday night waiting for him to take the stage when this tall (6’4), dark, and oh so handsome man approached me out of nowhere [insert dreamy music].   We both talked about our excitement to see the great John Legend perform and continued to chit chat.  I was hoping that we would exchange numbers and perhaps get to know each other because we seemed to hit it off quite well, but before we could even get to that point, he did something that I found rather bizarre that turned me all the way OFF: This dude asked me…

    Christian Woman

So I came across a woman on Facebook that I went to middle school with, but never got acquainted with during the school years. After running into her in public, we ended up exchanging numbers and started to text and have multiple phone conversations.   She seemed like a very nice and warm hearted Christian woman, so I was digging that tremendously being a Christian man. Anyway we started to spend time together….movies, dinner, and random meet ups just to talk. To sweeten the pot, she would cook and bring me all types of wonderful dishes she had prepared. [You know food is a way to a man’s heart.]    …

    Superbowl Showdown

So I was headed to a superbowl party hosted by a group of fraternity brothers. A few days before the party, I got a call from a guy (let’s call him Lew Zer) that I had been out with a couple of months prior and he informed me that he’d also be at the superbowl party. Nothing happened between the two of us besides dinner because. Lew Zer blew me off for our second date and I stopped calling him after that. Because I overslept, I arrived to the superbowl party right before half-time and once I got into the house, it was absolutely packed with people. I made my…

    Busted?

So I met this guy at a mutual friend’s cookout and we really hit it off. He was tall, handsome, and really made me laugh. We spoke on the phone a few times and discussed our relationship statuses. I let him know that I was single and wasn’t seeing anyone…he echoed my remarks. On this one particular evening during my drive home from work, he called me, but I could hear a little tension in his voice as if something was wrong and the conversation went something like this: Him: So how was your day? Me: My day was pretty good and yours? Him: Oh my day was good….So you’re…
