    Don’t Be A Buzzkill

So have you ever gone on a date with someone that sucked the life out of the entire room? Perhaps he/she was a Debbie Downer, rubbed you the wrong way, or just killed the moment?  Well, we call these people BUZZKILLS.  Now I’m certain we’ve all had our very own buzzkill moments and here are some suggestions on how NOT to be a buzzkill on future dates. Don’t bring up a bunch of sh*t that nobody cares about for the sake of having conversation Of course, we want conversations to flow naturally, but it’s important to really THINK before we speak. So if you have some random thoughts running through your mind that you…

    Lauryn Hill pt. 2

So I had gone on a couple of dates with this guy, let’s call him PNB (potential new boo), and we really seemed to have a great connection. Nonstop laughter, endless conversation, chemistry….you name it, we had it and, not to mention, we had the SAME taste in music [SCORE!!!!]. We communicated often and things really flowed with ease. Long Distance, No Date

So I met a young lady named Tara in December 2015 at my college alma mater’s football bowl game.  She was poised, beautiful, and seemed to be fun, but, most of all, she was a sports fan!  I was elated. We had great conversation during and after the game. We disclosed that neither of us lived in the local vicinity of the game:  she lives in Texas and I live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. What Is That Smell?

So I was on a weekend road trip with my sorority sisters, as we had a step competition. Being the devastating, dynamic, divas that we are, of course we came in first place. [Know us! Lol] Anyway right after the show, we were chilling in our hotel room with the local sorors and some of their guy friends. Well I really seemed to hit it off with this one guy and we started talking about everything under the sun. While we were talking, I couldn’t help but get distracted by a weird smell. It was very faint at first, but then it started to grow stronger and stronger. I began…

    Nothing But Drama

So one day I was playing around on Facebook and saw a man, let’s call him Sly, who I found attractive and started to flirt. I let him know that, although I found him attractive, I had a girlfriend at the time and not really looking for anything too serious. He asked me to lunch and I accepted his offer so that we could get to know each other. At lunch, he told me everything about his life such as him being a single father [found out that was a lie] to how he became a respectable public servant. Our date lasted for a few hours…we laughed, talked, and really…
